Insitu investigates how people are transforming urban environments in Europe—profiling architects, artists, philosophers, and musicians who have remade public spaces in creative ways. The interactive film features various  “chapters” that can be watched in a linear order. The chapters are also available on a map, allowing people to sort stories by location. Taken as a whole, the project’s chapters add up to a 90 minute feature-length documentary, which has been exhibited at film festivals and broadcast on television. The project’s creators intend Insitu to be experienced on multiple media platforms. In addition to the feature documentary and website, they have created a mobile app.
